Flirting Tips – Part Three
Continuing with our mini-series on flirting tips, we now want to address some of the ways in which a woman can flirt with man. Obviously, men and woman have different styles of flirting, being the reason why sometimes, messages can be misunderstood. As a woman, you have the power to use your femininity to let a man know that you find him attractive and interesting.
- Eye contact – We wanted to mention this for women, as we did for men because eyes are powerful tools when it comes to the flirting game. You can look at a man and once you get his attention, maintain your gaze for a few seconds, smile, and then look down. After a few minutes, look at him again. Doing this a few times will let the man know that you keep coming back to him because you would like to know more about him.
- Props – Woman have an advantage in that they can carry props for getting attention. For instance, let us say you wanted to meet men who are fun. In this case, you might wear a cute, blinking pen or finger ring, something that would be noticed and that could be used as an opening for conversation. Wearing or carrying something unique can be eye-catching, giving men the perfect opportunity to approach you without being nervous.
- Friends – When a group of women goes out and they are close together all night, many men will perceive this as a circle of protection, meaning you are not approachable. Therefore, if you want to let someone know that you can be approached, break away from your friends, time-to-time. In this case, you might walk up to the bar and just stand there or go to play a game of pool.
- Legs – If you have them, flaunt them. You can use your legs to attract a man without coming across as a slut. A skirt with a slit or one that sits just above the knee is all it takes. Remember, men are visual creatures so crossing your legs toward him will certain get his attention.
- Conversation – Make sure that once the man approaches you that you are interesting. While some small talk is expected, ask him specific questions about the things he enjoys doing. Men, just like women, like talking about themselves so learn about his job, recent travels, hobbies, and so on.
- Make the First Move – Many women still struggle with making the first move but in today’s society, this is perfectly acceptable. Therefore, if you see someone that you would like to meet, approach him and introduce yourself. Studies show that 95% of men actually love being approached by a woman so why not take the chance.
- Be YOU – The most important thing is always to be yourself. Putting up a phony front to impress someone will work but only for a while. After all, what happens if the two of you hit it off and start dating? He will eventually figure out that you were not you when the two of you first met. Therefore, just be yourself, have fun, and smile.
